Community In Crisis is Leading With Love

We know times are tough right now, but CIC chooses to lead with love. Pass this along or simply reach out to 2 other people and let them know you are thinking of them. Then continue the chain and let’s see how far we can spread the love.

If you or someone you know is struggling with their mental health during these difficult times, here are a few resources :

Volunteer for CIC

Community in Crisis depends on the time and talent of wonderful volunteers to support them on a project by project basis or on an ongoing basis.

Skillsets and interests are matched with the volunteer work involved. All volunteer hours can count towards community service. Volunteers from middle school and up are welcome to apply to volunteer with Community in Crisis by emailing info@communityincrisis.org. We are always thrilled to hear from you!

HUB CLUB

Community Service with a purpose – for all Middle School Students

Kids will enjoy a fun activity followed by a community service project that supports the mission of Community in Crisis… call it service with a purpose. Students are asked to put away their cell phones; hours count towards community service requirements.

Where

The Community Hub Club has been currently suspended to adhere to strict Covid-19 regulations. Check back soon for updates.

When

NOTE: Your health and safety is our top priority. While no member of staff, volunteers or participants have tested positive for COVID-19, we believe that continuing to operate and run programming at this time would be counter productive to the protective measures currently recommended. We will update you as soon as we find out more.

Register

Registration for Hub Club is currently on hold. Space is limited to the first 40 registrants. To cover supplies, the program fee for the 5 week program is $50. Please know, though, that we never want this fee to prevent your child from enjoying an enriching and memorable experience: please inquire about financial assistance at info@communityincrisis.org if the program fee poses a challenge for you. Thank you.
