Life Saving Donation

BERNARDSVILLE – Community in Crisis (CIC), a non-profit based in Bernardsville, has been given a check for $10,000 from First Energy Foundation. Carol Bianchi of Basking Ridge, left, external affairs consultant of Jersey Central Power & Light, presents the check to Andi Williams, also of Basking Ridge, CIC’s executive director. The donation will be used to keep community members safer by providing supplies of naloxone kits to families with a loved one struggling with a substance use disorder. Naloxone, more commonly known as Narcan, is an opioid antagonist in the form of a nasalspray medication designed to rapidly reverse opioid overdose.
