Drumming facilitates a state of relaxation, joy, and a sense of well-being. In addition to learning rhythms, participants will develop tools to encourage wellness and social interaction.
This program gets you started with the basics necessary to play and participate in community drum circles and will strengthen the skill levels of those familiar with drumming.
A series of 4 classes will offer an overview of how to position and hold the drum, learning notes and rhythms, practicing and participating in drum circle, and much more! You are strongly encouraged to sign up for all 4 sessions of the series since each class will continue to build. However, you can sign up for individual sessions.
