SUMMARY:The Sounds of Recovery Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Explore the restorative and rejuvenating energy of sound for your holistic recovery! \n\nStacy V \nCrystal Bowls \nThe sound vibrations emanating from the bowls re-tune the listener’s body by opening\, clearing\, and rebalancing the body. When the body is vibrating in harmony with the whole\, it is in a state of homeostasis or sound health. \nVicky Mulligan\, Life Center Stage \nDrum Circle \nCommunity Drumming is a positive\, uplifting\, and interactive experience that invites all into a sense of connection and belonging. Drumming helps to relieve stress and create positive shared experiences. \nYou don’t have to be a drummer to participate. Everyone has something to offer the circle\, and all are welcome. \nKat Roman\, The Healing People \nSound Healing \nOur bodies respond to the vibrations of different sounds or frequencies. A Sound Bath immerses us in these vibrations by utilizing various instruments (chimes\, Himalayan bowls\, crystal bowls\, tongue drums\, etc…). This creates a deeply meditative state by slowing our brainwaves and allowing our bodies to experience rest. A body at rest has time to restore. \nThe Sound Bath will have a beginning\, a middle\, and an end. \n***Please know it is not recommended to receive a Sound Bath if you have recently had a concussion or are someone who experiences epilepsy. Please consult with your Dr. before attending. \nAll are welcome\, no experience required. \nThere is limited space for this unique workshop. Please register HERE. \nFor more information contact Ken: kmusgrove@community.org.

SUMMARY:Sounds of Recovery: Sound Bath Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Fully immersive sound bath experience led by Kat Roman. \nWHEN: December 10 @1:00pm. \nWHERE: The Community Hub\, 9 Church Street\, Bernardsville\, NJ \n\nFully immersive sound bath experience led by Kat Roman. \nJoin us as we unwind and come to see that sound healing is one step short of magic.  Life can be stressful sometimes – come lay on the mat for a while.  Become immersed in the healing benefits of a sound bath. Leave feeling rejuvenated and refreshed. \n“Our bodies respond to the vibrations of different sounds or frequencies.  A Sound Bath immerses us in these vibrations by utilizing various instruments.  This creates a deeply meditative state by slowing our brainwaves and allowing our bodies to experience rest. Together let’s set the tone so that we may lead from the heart into the holiday season.” \nKat Roman\, CHTP: The Healing People  \nTips to make the experience better: Yoga Mat if you choose to lie on the floor (recommended)\, you may bring a blanket to place on the mat\, a cushion for under the knees to provide additional comfort\, an eye cover and anything else to create your ultimate rest nest. There will be seating available as well. \n***Please know it is not recommended to receive a Sound Bath if you have recently had a concussion or are someone who experiences epilepsy. Please consult with your Dr. before attending. \nThere is limited space for this unique workshop. Please register HERE. \nFor more information contact Ken: kmusgrove@community.org.
